Ronan by Clinet Blanc 2017

Grapes 95% Sauvignon Blanc 5% Semillon

The vineyard is situated between Sauternes and Saint-Emilion, on a promontory with steep slops on either side. The clay-and-limestone terroir, the orientation of the vines and the altitude combine to produce remarkable white wines. Ronan by Clinet White is delicious as an aperitif. Also a perfect match for pasta dishes, fish or poultry, grilled or in a sauce. Not to forget with cheese! Serve chilled at 10°-12°C.

Ronan by Clinet 2014

Grapes 100% Merlot

Ronan By Clinet 2014 presents a brilliant ruby appearance. Its nose is aromatic with hints of cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant, enlivened with sweet pepper. The fruity freshness of the bouquet is equally complemented by floral hints (blueberry flowers).

Its attack, delicately wrapped, reveals a sweet fruity evolution. On the palate, flavours of raspberry, fresh cherry and redcurrant develop, complemented with fine spices. Its finish is persistent and flavoursome.

Bad Boy 2015

Grape 95% Merlot 5% Cabernet Franc

Jean-Luc Thunevin from the Saint Emilion region has turned the wine world upside down as the proprietor of Chateau Valandraud. He started the ‘garage wine’ movement; wines made in small quantities with enormous concentration and power, and in Thunevin’s case literally in the garage of his house. These wines usually have an explosive, forward taste with extremely concentrated fruit, yet are made to drink soon rather than cellar for longer periods of time. Bad Boy is a fruity wine with flavours of blackcurrant, cherries and chocolate. The tannins are soft and silky, making the 2015 Bad Boy a nicely balanced wine.
